The conveyor line consists of a cutting line on the top and a waste line at the bottom. The cutting line is fitted with an adjustable cutter assembly at the end of the cutting line to cut the prepared mango cheeks into strips. All the components are made from corrosion resistant stainless-steel (304) and food grade plastics. The belt width and length can be made to client specifications
The cutter head and conveyors can be started and operated individually. We can design for any cutting width, within reasonable range (This is the spacing between the blades). This spacing can be adjusted by ordering new spacer units (and more blades, as less spacing means more blades and spacers).

The line is placed after the mango cutting line, underneath the mango cutting head. Drying racks are positioned below the mango cutter and provide opportunity to spread out the mangoes to prepare the tray for the SO2 applicator.
The preservative applicator conveys drying racks, placed manually on the conveyor, underneath nozzles that precisely spray liquid preservative onto the product. Each tray consistently receives a predetermined volume of preservatives. The trays are then manually removed at the end of the conveyor. This ensures consistent dosing of preservatives and thus a homogeneous preservative PPM reading per batch. The Applicator can be made to a length of 4m or 6m, with a width of 1.2 m. Estimated throughput range 10 -11 drying racks/minute. (Rack dimension 600x900mm). The Applicator is designed and manufactured from SS 304 and various engineering plastics, considering the extremely corrosive environment.
